Everyone needs some time to unwind, and Diego Garcia is no exception. Island residents can chill out at Jakes Place, picnic at the Plantation, enjoy Sunday brunch at the O club, a quiet meal at the Peacekeeper Inn or just have a soothing massage at the gym.

There are a number of island-wide picnics every year and MWR organizes bands to visit the island playing at different venues all year round.
